Diverse, Human, Equal: The Role Of The VCS In Equality And Human Rights - Event
---
On December 4th RAISE is running a very special event at Reading Town Hall. The event will bring together three of the leading organisations working on equality and human rights: The Government Equalities Office (GEO); The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC); and the British Institute for Human Rights (BIHR).
The day will contain key note speeches, an interactive workshop run by the BIHR, a networking lunch, an opportunity to influence the current consultation of the Business Case for a South East Equalities Network (SEEN) and also hear from three organisations operating on the front line.
This event is primarily for the voluntary/community sector (VCS). It is free and priority will be given to members of the VCS who have recently undertaken RAISE’s Equality Champion Training. Additional places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
