Charity Concert by Reading Male Voice Choir in aid of CAB
Wesley Methodist Church, Queens Road, READING, RG1 4BW
>> map
You are cordially invited to a concert by the Reading Male Voice Choir in aid of Reading's Citizens Advice Bureau. The Choir will perform a charming mix of music in a venue well-known for its excellent acoustics, Wesley Methodist Church. There will be old favourites as well as new arrangements of folk, contemporary, spiritual, classical and church pieces.
The Choir has been singing together for 40 years and the CAB has been in Reading for over 70 years, so this is a real coming together for local community.
Reading CAB is a charity staffed mainly by volunteers that not only provide advice on debt and employment, but on a host of other issues - housing, immigration, family breakdown, consumer problems, neighbours - as well. We help people with cancer get the help that they need, we provide education to people who want to manage their money and not get into debt, and life coaches to help people change their lives for the better. And these services are completely free.
Tickets would make a lovely Christmas, or indeed birthday, present and at just £10 each are available from the CAB and the Lemongrove Gallery, as well as the Choir's website. We look forward to seeing you there.
