Reading Half Marathon takes place every spring and involves over 15,000 wheelchair users and runners, plus a host of supporters.
Start times:
10:00 Wheelchair Half Marathon
10:05 Half Marathon
There are no places left for individual runners but as at 23 January, 8 charities we know of still have places remaining which volunteer runners can apply for. Click here for more information on the
RVA Directory
All finishers will receive a medal and goody bag.
The start point is at Green Park with the first leg up to the university, through the town and over the Kennet before passing under Abbey Gate and heading out to Prospect Park. The grand finish will be at Madejski Stadium. There are a range of cheering points where supporters can also do their bit to encourage the race participants, being hosted by local charities. Several of these are recruiting for volunteers via RGneeds.me and you can find a list
here
Full details of the route, parking for participants and supporters etc, are available on the Reading Half Marathon website
