Connections is a local communities award scheme that has already awarded more than 4,600 new internet-ready PCs to community and voluntary groups. In 2006/07 another 1,300 awards are up for grabs, to groups who can demonstrate how a PC and an internet connection will benefit their work and the local community.

There are two rounds of awards each year the closing dates are (for both online and paper applications) Thursday 26 October 2006 & Thursday 15 February 2007.
