The People We Work With - RVA AGM 2006

With the theme 'the people we work with' over 80 people gathered on 16 October at the Civic Centre in Reading to attend RVA's AGM.
The significance of positive working relationships, working in partnership with other organisations and the importance of looking ahead strategically at the role of the voluntary sector were highlighted in presentations from staff, partners and RVA Director, Mike Martin.
The 'people we work with' was also reflected in the Stretch Your Horizons film, produced with volunteers from local organisations. It gave an inspirational insight into the experiences of volunteering in Reading.
RVA launched its new on-line directory
www.rvadirectory.org.uk at the event which will be a centre-point for information on who does what and where in Reading's vibrant voluntary sector.
