2008 GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards- in association with the King's Fund

Would you like to receive an award of up to £35,000 in unrestricted fun ding plus high-level recognition for you work?

G;axoSmithKline's IMACT Awards are designed to recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people's health.
o The awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in health related field in the UK, with a total income of under £1 million.
o You do not need to present a new project. The awards are designed to recognised success and achievements for existing work.
o Up to 20 awards will be made with you deciding how to use the money.

The closing date for application is: 5pm on 28th September 2007.

The Philip Lawrence Awards:
The Philip Lawrence Awards recognises outstanding achievement by young people aged 11 to 20. The award focuses on exemplary activities- example of young people working together, promoting citizenship and overcoming the difficult situations some young people face.

Could you be a 2007 Award winner?
o Are you aged between 11 and 20 and part of a group working to make things better in your area?
o Are you inspiring other young people to make a difference?
o Do you know of, or work with, a group of young people who have taken the initiative to improve their lives, and the lives of others?
Winning group will receive cash award of £1,000 to invest in sustaining and developing their award-winning activity.

Closing date for nominations is: Friday 14 September 2007
