National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) are running a training session in Reading on 15 October 2007 on 'Being a development worker' and if you hurry there are still places left! Details are as follows:-

For people who are new to supporting groups, or revisiting the job after time away. This day will focus on:
communicating well with groups
caseload management
ethical issues of development work
where to get further support
how the SKiLD framework can help
