Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards
The Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards allocates grants to organisations that support children's welfare and education (including special needs schools). The closing date for the current round is 31 January 2008.

Harvest Trust
Harvest Trust is a national UK charity which organises simple seaside holidays for disadvantaged children. The holidays take place between April and October each year and are especially for groups of 8 to 11 year olds who really need a week away. Based at the Trust’s own Holiday Centre near Cardigan Bay in West Wales, the holidays are arranged in partnership with schools, youth and community groups. Harvest Trust specialises in simple, ‘no pressure’ holidays which particularly benefit withdrawn children with low self esteem who need space and encouragement to build confidence. vcashpoint is a funding initiative for young people who want to set up a voluntary project in their own community. By providing grants of up to £2,500, vcashpoint can help young people turn their ideas for voluntary projects into reality. The next deadline is 1 February.

Legacy Trust UK
The City of London has launched a new £40m trust to support cultural, artistic, educational and sporting activities for young people and communities on the back of the 2012 Olympic Games. Projects are planned across the UK and the trust will be able to raise extra funds from public and philanthropic sources and partnerships with organisations able to bring extra resources to the trust's programmes.

The Interim Funding programme
The Interim Funding programme is an important part of the Commission’s work to promote equality and human rights in Britain. Three broad Priority Areas have been developed to offer the flexibility applicants may need to cater for particular local needs and demands.
