From the Reading Evening Post:
"Children wearing cycle helmets on bike trips in the next four months could be in for a really big surprise.
A Reading-based charity has launched a wheelie great nationwide competition for young cyclists to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The Bicycle Helmet Initiative Trust launched Helmet Watch on Friday to encourage youngsters to wear cycle helmets when they are out on their bikes.
The scheme is the largest ever run by the charity and it has enlisted the help of the police and road safety officers across the country who will be handing out instant reward packs containing a toy and important safety information to children wearing helmets."
