Position available for a self motivated and proactive fundraiser, interested in flexible working hours where substantial commission and bonuses can be achieved.
Reading Area Charities Together (RACT) is a consortium of 8 local charities who have come together to pool their resources in a bid to secure more funds for individual causes, primarily through payroll giving.
We are seeking a self employed Fundraiser to promote our Payroll Giving to employees in the Reading area. This involves:
Acquisition of new supporting employers and donating employees including the necessary sign-up of paperwork
Promotion of RACT to Employers and Employees by the:
o Proactive one to one canvassing of Employers and Employees
o Organisation and follow-up of mail shots
o Giving of Employee presentations
o Representation at relevant exhibitions, seminars, networking events etc
o Attendance at promotional events
Account management of existing member companies and donors, including problem resolution
Basic expertise on relevant legislation, government assistance*
RACT are partners with a number of local networks already, and the Fundraiser will attend networking events and utilise existing contacts whilst seeking out new opportunities to promote RACT.
REQUIRED HOURS
RACT offers the chosen candidate a flexible working package. Hours and times of work will be set by the candidate. As the role is Commission based, it is up to the individual to work the hours that they think are necessary to reach the given targets.
VERY ATTRACTIVE FINANCIAL PACKAGE
RACT offers an extremely attractive financial package for the right candidate. Earnings dependent on number of Payroll sales made.
One-off Commission of 50% of the Annual Donation Value of payroll and standing order/direct debit donations secured inclusive of the employer matched donations and net of collection fees i.e. £5/month = £60/year thus commission would be £30
For example, 1000 Employee Sign-ups at £5/per month = £60,000 giving the Salesperson £30,000
Potential one-off bonus of £5,000 if Annual Donation Value and/or Standing Order/Direct Debit donations exceeds £50,000 after 12 months (from start of contract)
Further 10% commission on other donations
