The Society provides services, support and information for people with autism, their families, professionals and service providers across Berkshire. It is based in central Reading.

Fundraising Manager - 20 hours per week £25,000 p.a pro rata (£13,500)
This is a new post offering an exciting opportunity for someone with fundraising experience to develop and implement a programme to ensure that the Society has the funds it needs to continue providing its services. You will need to be highly motivated, innovative and have excellent communication and time management skills. You must have a good knowledge of funding sources and a proven track record in securing funds.

Support Worker - 12 hours per week Afternoons preferred
£14,700 p.a (pro rata) (£4,767)
This role involves providing information about autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and the services available to anyone affected by it, undertaking support and administration for the services and events that BAS offers and assisting with fundraising activities. You will be working with people with ASD, so a knowledge of autism and related disorders would be helpful as would experience of the charity or voluntary sector. Essential requirements are good communication and organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work on your own initiative.
