Robert Paice - Trustee of Reading Voluntary Action
by Mike Martin (Director)
7 May 2009
Robert Paice died suddenly and unexpectedly on 22 April. His energy and enthusiasm for social housing, for voluntary organisations, for volunteering, for community development and for regeneration will have touched the lives of many people in Reading. For Reading Voluntary Action he was above all a great trustee. He worked hard for the organisation. He consistently asked the right questions and was never afraid to challenge. He had good judgement and he was strategic. On top of those qualities he was simply a nice man. We are a better organisation because of Robert's eight and a half years of service and indebted to him. Our thoughts are with his wife and family.
