Your Voice
The Forum AGM is a key event in Reading’s Voluntary and Community Sector calendar. All local VCS groups are automatically members of the Forum and have access to the events, expertise and experience that the Forum can offer in developing capacity, influencing strategic planning and implementing positive change.
Your AGM
This year’s theme is ‘Rising to the Challenge’ and will include
· The outcomes from the Forum Consultancy Project and recommendations on moving forward – Richard Usher, Just Ideas
· A case study on running a successful community group
· Workshops on the challenges and opportunities in collaborative working
Your Chance to Get Involved
Help to elect new ‘Forum Voices’ in our representative elections for vacant positions on six statutory partnerships. There are also positions available on the committee.
A free hot buffet will provide an excellent opportunity for networking.
