DWP - Future Jobs Fund The Government has created a £1 billion Future Jobs Fund to which Local Authorities and other organisations can bid to create around 150,000 new jobs. This is a new approach to create jobs and provide hope for those most in need: young people, disadvantaged groups and others in deprived communities. The Government is committed to working with Local Authorities and other partners to deliver real help to individuals and their communities.
You can find out more in the Guide to the Future Jobs Fund, including how the bidding process will operate at Website:
DWP will announce details of the formal bidding process shortly. In the meantime, they invite Local Authorities and other large organisations such as social enterprises and voluntary sector bodies to come forward with their initial ideas for new jobs which will benefit the community. They are looking for ideas which create rewarding work and will help individuals and communities in greatest need, particularly young people.
To express interest in the Future Jobs Fund, and send your initial ideas to them, please complete the form on website above. General information about the Future Jobs Fund is available in a press release at Website:
