We have a varied and diverse training program over the next couple of months.
Events include Managing Boundaries. This work shop explores the boundaries which surround us, whether they be emotional, spiritual, sexual or professional. We will discuss how they are set and whether they are appropriate. This will take place on 12th June.
One day First aid training will take place on 17th June. This is a recognized certificate but does book quickly.

Communication skills will take place on 23rd June. This is a one day course will help delegates develop effective communication skills whether in meetings, over the telephone or in any situation where you need to be heard and understood.

On 30th June we are holding Dealing with difficult situations. This has proved to be one of the most popular courses that we have organized over the last year. It is an essential work shop for frontline staff who deal with difficult clients in person or on the telephone, or for individuals who face difficult situations in the work place.

On 2nd July we are holding a public law training event, provided by NAVCA, it is called Empowering the Voluntary sector and we would like to encourage as many small groups as possible to attend this really important event.

9th July Impact training will take place. This is a one day training event that will help delegates see how their organiosation really impacts on the community.

September to December will see the return of Grow your own group training, further details will be released very soon.

If you are interested in any of theses events or would like further information please contact Merlyn Barrett at merlyn@volaction.demon.co.uk or telephone 0118 9574123
