News from: Reading Voluntary Action (RVA)

Fund 1 = the innovation fund, aimed to support ground-breaking projects that will increase sporting opportunities and participation. Around £5m will be available to local sports clubs, community groups, local authorities and social enterprises, which can each bid for up to £500,000. Applications need to be submitted by 10 August 2009.

Fund 2 = the sustainable facilities fund, aimed to back partnership projects that will produce modern, new facilities which generate long-term benefits. Round 1 of 2 this year closes on 30 June 2009.
