The Guardian Charity Awards --- The Guardian Charity Awards 2009, sponsored by Media and the National Council of voluntary Organisations, are open to UK social welfare charities that can demonstrate excellence and achievement in what they do. Each winner will receive £1,000 cash, a PC and a range of consultancy and media advice. The deadline for entries is the 31st July 2009 and winners will be announced in December.
