£23,500 – 25,000 per annum
Fixed term contract until 31st March 2010. We are actively seeking funding to extend this post.
Location: Reading
You’ll organise projects to involve the residents of South Reading in the future of their community. Working for one of the countries leading environmental regeneration charities, you’ll be responsible for building Groundwork’s reputation and changing people’s lives through involvement in their community.
You will need to be strong and inspirational, working with partners from all sectors to develop and implement community involvement in neighbourhood renewal and specific projects. You will be responsible to ensure the projects meet objectives and targets and have an impact on local people and their environment.
You will need to have knowledge of how successful projects influence partnerships and give local people a “voice”. The ability to manage budgets effectively together with monitoring and evaluation skills, knowledge of neighbourhood renewal and social inclusion are important.
A part of your role will be obtaining funding that will ensure the on-going development of Groundwork in Reading and our projects.
