£320,000 lotto grant for Mother Tongue

Mother Tongue has been awarded a £320,000 lottery grant.

The Reading charity who offers a listening ear to vulnerable people whose first language is not English, heard the exciting news this morning.

Beverley Costa, who founded the charity 10 years ago, says the money will help fund the provision of counselling in various languages for the next four years.
