Grants between £5,000 - £20,000 are available for third sector organisations (TSOs) in the UK that support people with learning disabilities. The scheme is intended to support registered charities and exempt organisations that support people with learning disabilities. In particular the scheme wishes to fund work in the following areas:
• Lifelong care projects.
• Lifestyle and activity support.
• Family orientated projects.
Key Criteria
Eligible organisations must:
• Operate in the UK.
• Have registered charity status or be exempt.
• Have evidence of successful work in the same field as the grant proposal.
Priority will be given to charities that engage exclusively in the provision of residential care
Application Procedure
Applications should be made in writing and should include:
• The organisation's most recently audited annual accounts.
• The organisation's annual review.
Applications are not accepted by email.
The deadline is 31 January 2010
