'Vision and Voice' - Your Chance to Shape Reading's Future

News from: Reading Voluntary Action (RVA)

26 January 2010

Reading Voluntary Action, in partnership with Stronger Together, is organising an unique event that will allow Reading people to have a real say in the future of our town.

'Vision and Voice' is the chance for those involved in Reading's Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to influence a future Community Plan.

This unmissable VCS event is on Monday 22nd March, 09.30 - 15.30, at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium. Comprising of a keynote speech, group work and networking opportunities, it is free to everyone involved in Reading's voluntary and community sector.

Recommendations and ideas from the event will be fed back into Reading Borough Council's refreshed Sustainable Community Strategy - the plan to maintain and enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of Reading's inhabitants. The conference provides a unique and innovative way to be part of this process and shape the future of the town.

Due to high demand, spaces may be limited to one delegate per organisation. To book your free place, please use the link below or telephone Anna Fowler on 0118 958 4849.
