Reading Community Learning Centre (RCLC) is a local charity providing educational opportunities and related services for women from minority ethnic communities.
We are seeking a talented woman (genuine occupational requirement) with a good understanding of community education and minority ethnic community issues to lead the learning centre and its staff. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for managing our education programme, crèche and other activities, as well as for fundraising, financial management, developing partnerships and representing the organisation at all levels.
We need someone with strong leadership qualities who is committed to working with people of different cultural backgrounds. You will also be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal and influencing skills with relevant management experience.
Closing date: Tuesday, March 16th, 2010.
Interviews will be on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th April 2010.
