Death of Martyn Allies, DFC, MBE

We deeply regret to record the death on 25 January of Martyn Allies, DFC, MBE, aged 89. He was the Chairman of the Reading Düsseldorf Association for over twenty years, and actively involved for much longer both with us and also with many other community organisations.
There will be a funeral service for Martyn at Caversham Heights Methodist Church at 3.15 pm on Friday 12 February. A service of celebration of his life will be held at St Mary’s Minster Church at 2.30 pm on Saturday 13 March.
