Stronger Together is giving local voluntary and community sector groups the opportunity to voice their opinions on a wide range of issues including social care, education and healthcare provision, climate change concerns and leisure and recreation, at an event in March.
The 'Vision and Voice' conference is on Monday 22nd March, 09.30 - 15.30, at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium. Comprising of a keynote speech, presentations, workshops and networking opportunities, it is free to everyone involved in Reading's voluntary and community sector.
Recommendations and ideas from the event will be fed back into Reading Borough Council's refreshed Sustainable Community Strategy - the plan to maintain and enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of Reading's inhabitants. The conference provides a unique and innovative way to be part of this process and shape the future of the town.
