Are you active in a Reading-based voluntary and community group and want to expand your horizons? We are looking for nominations for Forum Voices - local Voluntary and Community Sector representatives who are part of statutory partnerships. Forum Voices represent the views of voluntary and community groups in their specialist field, and report back on developments that are of interest to the sector.
Forum Voices work on several initiatives including: the Local Strategic Partnership, the Social Inclusion Advisory Group and the Reading Compact; and on statutory/voluntary and community sector partnerships working for children and young people, older people and for people with drug, alcohol, disability and health-related issues.
Forum Voices are elected for a term of two years and are supported by Stronger Together. They are elected at the Forum and RCVYS AGMs:
The Forum AGM is on Wednesday 30th June, 16.00 – 19.30 at RISC, 35-39 London Street, Reading, RG1 4PS.
The RCVYS (Reading Children’s Voluntary and Youth Services) AGM is on Monday 21st June, 18.00 – 20.30 at The Warehouse, 1a Cumberland Road, Reading RG1 3LB
