'Yes You' - Free Personal Development Training from Reading Voluntary Action

Reading Voluntary Action is holding a series of training sessions this summer that will provide you with the skills needed to get back into employment, support you in your voluntary work or help you become active in your community. Focussing on personal development, the training explores:
Assertiveness
Effective communication
Personal organisation
Self-motivation
Confidence building
Next Steps
Are you?:
Currently not in employment
Female
A lone parent
Over 50
From a black or minority ethnic community
Then this training programme could be for you.
Each training session will be around 4 hours long and will include a free buffet lunch. You can choose to attend two or more sessions. Training will be located in accessible locations throughout Reading between June and September 2010. We may be able to reimburse your travel expenses and childcare costs (subject to demand).
