Reading Citizens Advice Bureau, along with Reading Credit Union and Frontline, are developing an end user financial capability training programme to be delivered in community locations around Reading. The aim of this training is to increase the financial skills of people in Reading and consists of modules covering basic budgeting, banking, choosing credit, savings, managing debt and maximising income. The end user training will start in late September 2010 and the course is currently being developed.

We are looking for an experienced trainer to develop and deliver the trainer sessions based on existing materials. There will be approximately 8 volunteer trainers to be trained. The personal qualities required of applicants are flexibility, drive, reliability and commitment.

This project is part of a larger strand of work that we are seeking funds to develop and there is a possibility of further paid part time work following on from this.
