RVA seeks new Director

Reading Voluntary Action is a vibrant organisation which exists to promote and support a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish locally, enhancing the quality of life for people living in Reading. We are seeking a new Director to provide vision, leadership and management for the organisation in a challenging environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with a commitment to the voluntary and community sector who can:
· Provide external leadership in the community, raising the profile of RVA’s support services.
· Lead and develop our experienced management team in a context of change.
· Bring strategic financial management skills to complex multi-fund finances, with an entrepreneurial approach to
develop RVA’s funding base.
· Implement performance and operational management systems, with a focus on outcomes.
· Represent the interests of the voluntary and community sector, championing its contribution and independence,
and promoting community empowerment.
