Support with Confidence Scheme

27 September 2011
The 'Support with Confidence' care approval scheme is a joint initiative between West Berkshire and Wokingham Borough Council's Community Care teams and Trading Standards Service.
The scheme offers vetted and approved service providers for personal care, support and other tasks.
The scheme is open to anyone providing personal care or other support and domestic services and is primarily aimed at those providers who are not obliged to register with the Care Quality Commission such as Personal Assistants and small organisations.
The scheme will be launched for Wokingham and West Berkshire areas on Tuesday 4 October 2011 10am-12 noon in the Council Chamber, Market Street, Newbury. The event will provide more detailed information about the Scheme, including a first hand experience from guest speaker, Stephen Eddy from 360 Care.
