Social Care Info Point (SCiP) - West Berkshire

West Berkshire Council (WBC) is creating a free online information directory of local adult social care related providers and services. The directory is called The Social Care Info Point (SCiP).
SCiP will be used both by the general public and by the Adult Social Care teams for West Berkshire. In order to give people more choice and control it is vital to raise awareness and promote community resources available that could assist adults to seek their own solutions to address their social care and support needs, particularly for individuals ineligible for WBC adult social care services. SCiP will be officially launched at the next Provider Event on Thursday 3rd November 2011.
To include your organisation and services on SCiP, please take a few minutes to complete the Add Entry form which can be found at
www.westberks.gov.uk/scip You will need to complete a new form for every service provided. On submission of the form, your entry will be checked and then added to SCiP. Going forward, WBC will provide a log-in to the site so that you will be able to maintain your own record to ensure that information is accurate and up to date. WBC will not take responsibility for updating records once you have a log-in account.
