BACYP V Involved is a UK wide initiative which encourages young people aged 16-24 to build on their skills and interests through volunteering in their local community. The aim of the scheme is for young people to achieve 200 hours of volunteering, therefore demonstrating a sustained commitment to their chosen activity or activities, at which point they will receive a nationally recognised Award of Excellence. Supported by a project worker, through the scheme young people have access to over 200 placement providers, youth led projects and a number of training courses.
