Berkshire Community Foundation is committed to helping companies and individuals make a lasting impact in their local community by raising funds to provide a permanent source of funding for the voluntary groups that tackle need at the grassroots of the local community. Its vision is to improve the quality of life for people in Berkshire through a growing grant making capacity supporting voluntary and community groups in the county. It has been described as 'The friendly face of funding' in its provision of grants to small voluntary and community groups.

Berkshire Community Foundation's Grassroots Grants programme has a further £20,000 to allocate in Reading before the end of this financial year. Our grants panel will meet again in early February and we are actively encouraging community groups in Reading to get their applications in to us early in the New Year.
