Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF) awards grants to a wide range of projects to build stronger communities and enrich lives by supporting organisations addressing need.

BCF seeks to improve the quality of life for people in Berkshire through a growing grant making capacity supporting voluntary and community groups in the county. BCF inspires philanthropy and charitable giving and provides a vital link between donors and local needs.

BCF works in partnership with Localgiving.com. Localgiving.com is a national website, where local community groups raise money, awareness, support and find volunteers through web pages that they can write and update themselves. All registered groups can raise unrestricted funds and receive 25% Gift Aid on top of their donations.

BCF and Localgiving.com offer free help and advice on marketing, promotion and fundrasing. Voluntary groups can also benefit from promotion on national and local levels.
