Phab focuses on meeting the needs of people with impairments and disabilities. It promotes independence and combats social exclusion with a drop in centre for adults dealing with the debilitating effects of loneliness. Activities include: encouraging members to explore their own interests and make decisions for themselves; advice and assistance on general health improvement with assisted shower facilities and a laundry area; encouraging sports activity and healthy eating; and literacy and computer classes for those who missed out on a formal education when younger due to their disability.
