CRB (Enhanced) vetted and fully trained volunteers offer free vital support to Reading residents (50 years and over) who have been discharged from hospital by performing low level practical and emotional support (light housework, shopping, collecting prescriptions), or just sitting and chatting over a cup of tea. Reasonable expenses reclaimable.

Trained volunteers offer the short-term loan of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches, bathing aids, toileting aids and other aids. The service is sponsored by donations.

The transport service offers freedom and independence for people who cannot get about easily or use public transport. We help people to get to medical appointments, to do everyday essentials like shopping, or even just to get out of the house and socialise.
