The Church of God World Wide Mission aims have been to develop a community centre for the use of the people of West Reading who are vulnerable and marginalised regardless of race, colour, creed, sex or age. The project will be based on Christian values. Its purpose is to help people develop a healthy self-esteem thus gaining the confidence to take control of their lives. In realising their value they will become of value to society. Our sincere hope is that the work we are presently doing, will also bring glory to God.
The project has a number of services in operation which are listed below:
Youth Club for young people aged 10-18 which also has an aim to extend our current service by providing a Literacy and Numeracy teaching programme for the junior to pre-GCSE age. Currently run under the Community Mission Project
