Connect Reading is a partnership between the business, public and voluntary sectors that actively participates in creating a better quality of life for all in greater Reading. We provide information and expertise on community involvement opportunities for organisations of all sizes and support our members in the delivery of their corporate responsibility objectives.
To facilitate effective joint working between business, public and voluntary sectors, building on existing partnerships to help address key economic and social issues affecting Reading.
To promote the benefits of engaging in community investment to businesses of all sizes and create opportunities to participate in projects that make a difference.
To develop strategic and innovative business responses to issues of mutual concern, such as employment, skills development, education and the environment.
To develop initiatives which promote the economic well-being of deprived communities and tackle social exclusion.

The Wokingham Mobility Partnership has been offered 10 Desks, chairs and PC’s from a London based business but has no means of collecting these items. They only require half of the donated goods therefore would like to offer any voluntary or community sector organisation the other half, if you can help them pick them up and bring them back to Reading/Wokingham. The items need to be picked up either on 27 October or 31 October at the latest.
