Our aims are to promote practical conservation of the natural environment for the benefit of the environment and the community, and to provide training in the principles and practice of conservation. To this end we undertake regular conservation tasks at sites in and around Reading. Our mid-week work party, CROW (Conserve Reading on Wednesdays), meet most Wednesdays - and other days when the need arises. In addition we run tasks, mainly at weekend, on behalf of a number of "Friends of" and other local groups.
We are all volunteers and new members are always welcome. By joining us we hope you will gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural environment but most of all, we hope you will enjoy yourselves.
