Enterprise Gateways provide a complete range of services and support for entrepreneurs and young companies in their localities.
These Gateways exist to help get local businesses off the ground and running successfully. They are an integral part of the local community and help all types of business to flourish by providing friendly advice, subsidised training courses, mentoring, confidence and self-esteem building, workspace, and help with early stage finance.
Additionally, Enterprise Gateways are particularly aware and supportive of the business and start-up issues faced by women, social entrepreneurs, ethnic minorities, individuals made redundant or facing redundancy, students and recent graduates, the over 50s, and the long-term unemployed.
Business Link Berkshire is affiliated with two such Gateways, Slough and Reading.
