The Evaluation Trust is a well-respected community development capacity building agency, founded in 1990. We focus on work with small, poorly resourced community and voluntary organisations and their funders.
We offer advice, information, and training in evaluation and performance improvement. We undertake evaluation work and also help the voluntary and community sectors and their funders build it into their work.
We aim to build up an organisation's capacity to use participatory evaluation as a tool for organisational learning and development, and thus contribute to their sustainability by:
a) acting as an evaluation resource by providing advice, information, ideas and short term help
b) allocating an experienced consultant to work with the organisation
c) designing and delivering training programmes in monitoring and participatory evaluation for statutory and voluntary organisations and consultants
d) undertaking participatory evaluation work with organisations and funde
