Explore is an educational charity working in schools, young offenders institutions, and youth groups to enable young people to explore the realities of marriage and so discover for themselves more about family life and committed relationships. Explore's trained volunteer facilitators bring together young people and married couples in dialogue. In addition to discovering insights into relationships and family life, the young people develop skills in carrying out research, interviewing adults, working together as a team and taking responsibility for their own learning.
The last year has been an exciting one for Explore in Berkshire and the Blackwater Valley region, with half-day conferences being run in two new schools. To all our partners, in prayer and financial support, and especially to our volunteer couples and advisor coaches a very big thank you for your essential contributions over the past year. Your participation is touching the lives of hundreds of young people in our area.
