First Steps is a Christian organisation offering support primarily to adults in the Whitley community through impartial counselling and Messy Play Parenting Support Scheme. We treat everyone who comes with equal respect and consideration. Our aim is to demonstrate Christian love in action.

A confidential and impartial counselling service to the community. Counsellors use an integrative, person-centred approach; CBT, TA, stress management, anger management, Parks Inner Child Therapy (PICT), Brief Therapy, a Christian approach if sought.
All our counsellors are accredited or working towards this.

We offer a friendly and welcoming environment in which adults can play with their children in "messy" situations such as shaving foam, sand, water, pasta, etc. We do all the cleaning up and offer tea, coffee and a listening ear.
