An arts and crafts community group based on the Oxford Road, running drop-in workshops at 553 Oxford Road. Giraffe Workshops provide a secure and friendly environment to socially excluded members of society across Reading, aiming to increase confidence and social interaction through the medium of arts and crafts. Those wishing to attend must be receiving benefits or be referred through another agency.

Workshops include soap-making, beading and jewellery, card-making, glass and ceramic painting, fimo and much more. There is a disabled ramp - please call us beforehand if you will require this. Please pop in for a cuppa and a chat or call Karen.

Thanks to funding from Berkshire Community Foundation, Giraffe Workshops will be holding weekly and monthly arts and crafts sessions for The Women's Centre based at Wesley Methodist Church, Queen's Street and CIRDIC (Churches in Reading Drop-In Centre), Berkeley Avenue.
