The Gloucester Road Playgroup is a popular pre-school and charity in West Reading. We are Ofsted regulated and follow the Foundation Stage national curriculum. Run by a committee of volunteers, we work in partnership with parents to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which young children can learn and play.

The Playgroup runs nine sessions a week of two and half hours. There is a maximum of 20 children in each session. Activities include free play, National Curriculum-based projects and activities, literacy and numeracy and outdoor learning in our extensive and well-equiped garden.
