The League of Friends is established for charitable purposes only and its objectives shall be to support patients of the Royal Berkshire Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, infirm, handicapped or in need of assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the said NHS Trust.

An extremely successful Hospital Fete was held in Victoria Recreation Ground Tilehurst on Saturday June 13 raising over £3,000.
