The Me2 Club targets children and young people aged 5 to 19 years who have special needs and who are excluded from mainstream activities because of the environment, nature of the activity or the social expectation.
The Me2 Club enables those children and young people with special needs to access mainstream activities with the support of a trained volunteer. It allows children with special needs to take part and join in alongside other children.
Volunteers are recruited and trained then matched with a child or young person to offer support at the child's chosen activity.
Volunteer training takes places approximately three times a year in the autumn, spring and summer terms.
The Me2 Club helps children in any mainstream activity, like all uniformed groups, sports clubs and lessons, dance drama and creative arts groups, and play environments.
Ms Emily Radford - Project Co-ordinator
To recruit and train volunteers then match them to a child or young person with special needs so that the child can attend a mainstream activity.

The Me2 Club is a Wokingham based charity enabling children and young people aged 5 to 19 years old with additional needs to participate in mainstream activities, playing and socialising alongside other children. This is made possible by providing a trained volunteer to offer one to one support. The Club also runs a number of residential trips for these children and volunteers each year.
