One World Week is a worldwide movement of people from diverse backgrounds who come together locally to:
• Learn about global justice and share in the care of the Earth and its resources.
• Spread that learning by staging local events which celebrate the diversity of cultures in our communities.
• Take action, locally and globally, for justice, equality, peace and fullness of life for all.
We believe that when we understand each other's perspectives our lives can be transformed and enriched. To create the opportunity for this One World Week is constantly reaching out beyond its founding church networks to new groups and individuals from all faiths and none and from all cultural backgrounds in the UK and beyond.
