Our volunteers, each with their own temperament assessed dog or cat, visit at mutually agreed times into nursing/residential homes, mainstream and special needs schools, hospitals and hospices, working with both phobic and stroke patients; indeed, anywhere that the animals can bring that companionship and therapy unique to dogs and cats. Pets as Therapy is a national charity set up in 1983 to offer the service we now provide. Volunteers needed in all areas of the country.
