The Group, which was formed in 1991, covers Berkshire wide.
It is a voluntary organization run by people who have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) with involvement welcomed by carers, parents, and those sympathetic to our cause.
We welcome people with Fibromyalgia (FM) also. Many of us have dual diagnosis.
In place at present, which we hope to continue to have:
A meeting every 1 - 2 months, for a drink and chat to share information. Usually at a member’s house, sometimes we have a talk, in areas from Reading across to Slough.
We produce a quarterly newsletter, emailed to save on costs, or otherwise it can be posted if you're not connected.
A round robin email system between newsletters. This keeps our members up to date with events.
A library of books, tapes, CD's and equipment to borrow, which can be posted, if p&p covered.
We have a list of members who members may call, for a short time.
If interested in joining the group please contact membership secretary Sylvia Daniel at newmembers.megroup@yahoo.co.uk or telephone to supply a subs slip.
