A Soto Zen Buddhist temple providing meditation instruction for new-comers and regular weekly evening meditation sessions and weekend retreats which are open to anyone who has attended an introductory session on our meditation practice. There are talks on Zen Buddhism and practice in everyday life and spiritual counselling is available on request from the senior monk/priest who runs the centre. No charges are made for any events as has always been the tradition with Buddhist monks offering the Buddha's teaching. The traditional begging bowl is left out for those who may wish to make a donation.
