To provide recreation and leisure activities for disadvantaged families in Reading and district through:-
a) Annual day out in July to a theme park, zoo or wildlife animal park, or the seaside;
b) Distribution of gifts from the community to children of Reading, aged birth to 16 years via various agencies (in confidence);
c) Annual visit to matinee performance of local show or panto, if enough funds available.

Reading Family Aid has launched its annual Christmas toy appeal and once again would in be very grateful for your toys, vouchers or other gift donations. We are always short of gifts suitable for teenagers and any ‘making and doing’ type of things. Please make sure gifts are new or ‘good as new', and please do not wrap them.
